Before and After
The lath and plaster ceiling was extremely cracked from water leaks and had been poorly patched many times. The plaster on the walls was cracked and had de-laminated.
A new plasterboard ceiling, hard plaster repair on the brick. Painted in Dulux Natural White and Dulux Black Caviar on the handrail. New downlights installed

The plasterboard ceiling and paint were badly damaged from a roof leak

The plasterboard was patched, primed and painted after the roof leak was repaired by my plumber

This decorative lath and plaster ceiling was extremely cracked. This is after the cracks have been scraped out to allow for the filler to get into the crack.
After
The cracks are reinforced with fiberglass mesh and troweled smooth. After painting it looks great again. New downlights also made this room light and bright.
